At Santa Monica Suites Hotel, we work every day to ensure that every detail of your stay is unique, thoughtful, and meaningful. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and support for local businesses, we are making a small but significant change to one of our most iconic courtesy items: the chocolate square that awaits each guest in their room.
Until now, this sweet detail came from an external manufacturer. From this month onwards, we are delighted to offer our guests chocolate made by Tirma, one of the most emblematic and beloved brands of the Canary Islands, known for its long-standing tradition and quality.
With this change, we wish to highlight a company that represents the essence of Canarian craftsmanship and tradition. Choosing Tirma means offering our guests an authentic local flavor while supporting a brand that forms part of the islands’ cultural and gastronomic heritage.
By incorporating a kilometre zero (KM0) product, we are also helping to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy, promoting a more sustainable and responsible approach to hospitality.
At Santa Monica Suites Hotel, we believe sustainability is built through everyday choices. Opting for local products allows us to provide a more genuine and environmentally conscious experience, while supporting the community that surrounds us.
We know that unforgettable experiences are created through small gestures. That is why this new courtesy chocolate is not only a sweet treat, but also a symbol of our values: quality, proximity, and commitment to the Canary Islands.
Enjoy this local flavour knowing that, by doing so, you are also contributing to a more responsible and sustainable way of travelling.
